ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is inspired by a few things: the moonlight on a
landscape, my belief in our fundamental connection with all of nature, and finally, my wanderings and wonderings and observations around my backyard in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes. I am a passionate gardener. My herb, flower and vegetable gardens are an ever present source of fascination and inspiration.
I work primarily with charcoal and pen & ink, but sometimes venture into glass and mixed media and most recently I've entered the wonderful world of fibre arts!
